Sliding Glass Doors for Luxury Yorkshire Home:- Case Study

We designed, manufactured and installed bespoke Solarlux Cero II sliding doors for a luxury home extension in North Yorkshire. The striking focal point of the project was a six-pane set of sliding glass doors at 13 metres wide and 3.15 metres high.

A further set of returning two-pane Cero II sliding doors were also installed to the right and left sides of extension, offering a wonderful panorama of the countryside surrounding the property.

A highlight of the project for our team was working with the architects and homeowners who, from the start, designed the glazing as an integral part of the home extension. We were therefore called upon from the early stages of the project to use our expertise to ensure the extensive sliding glass doors were specified and manufactured to the meticulous standards required for this Yorkshire home.

The indoor-outdoor effect of the doors was enhanced through the inclusion of a low, weather-rated threshold on the doors, creating a seamless flow from the home out to the patio.
