Our 4 pane bi-folding doors come in many different configurations, including options with a master door to the right or left hand side. This functional door can be used on its own as an entrance and exit point for frequent use.

Opening Outside

4 Right / O - 4R

All the doors of these 4 pane bi-folds move in the same direction when opening. This configuration is ideal if you'd like your doors stacked together to the right hand side when viewed from inside.

Please note there is no independent master door and no external handles or locks in this configuration, with the doors being opened with shootbolt handles from the inside only.

4 Left / O - 4L

These 4 pane bi-folding doors move in the same direction when opening. This configuration sees the doors fold together to the left hand side when viewed from inside.

Please note there is no independent master door and no external handles or locks in this configuration, with the doors being opened with shootbolt handles from the inside only.

1 Left 3 Right / O - 1L 3R

In this 4 pane bi-folding doors configuration, which is viewed from inside, the left hand door must open first as an independent master door. The remaining three doors slide away from the master door, moving from the left to stack together on the right hand side when viewed from inside.

This configuration with an independent master door is useful if the opening is a frequent entrance and exit point as it means the master door can be used on its own without the need to open the other three doors.

It has lever / lever handles inside and out.

1 Right 3 Left O - 1R 3L

This configuration, viewed from inside, sees the right hand door open first as an independent master door. This allows it to be used on its own without the need to open the other two doors. It is a useful option if the opening is a high traffic entrance and exit.

When opening up the whole space, the master right hand door opens first and the remaining three doors fold away from the master door, moving from the right to stack together on the left hand side when viewed from inside.

It has lever / lever handles inside and out.

2 Left 2 Right / O - 2L 2R

For perfect symmetry of movement, choose this configuration for your 4 pane bi-folding doors. Opening up from the middle, two of the doors slide and fold together to the left while the other two move and stack to the right.

Please note there is no independent master door and no external handles or locks in this configuration, with the doors being opened with shootbolt handles from the inside only.
